Beef Bourguignonne Pot Pie by Dough-EZ

Directions

1Instructions: In skillet set on medium heat, brown beef, saute onions, mushrooms until meat is no longer pink. Drain all but 1-2 tbs. of liquid. Stir in 2 tbs. of flour. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until gravy thickens. Remove from heat.

2Preheat oven 375°F Use Dough EZ to roll out your favorite pie crust. (Flaky Pie Crust Recipe) Pie crusts can be made ahead and chilled before use. Prepare lower crust and fill with meat mixture. Blanket with upper crust, vent and crimp edges, Brush crust with egg and Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.

1 lbs ground beef

1 onion

1 cup mushrooms

2 carrots (sliced thinly)

1/2 cup burgandy/ red wine

1 cup beef broth

1 can diced tomatoes

1 tsp thyme

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper ()

1 recipe Double Crust Pastry
